Тюркоазеният цвят, небесно синьото и тъмносиньото се съчетават с летните и морски дрехи и обувки, с небето, морето и слънцето. Обаче, твърде много синьо може да предизвика скука, меланхолия и тъга. Оранжевият цвят е смес от червено и жълто, изразява енергия, щастие и радост, които представляват и тези два цвята – червеното и жълтото. Оранжевият цвят, следователно, се свързва с емоциите на радост, щастие, топлина, слънце, ентусиазъм, щастие, творчество, свобода и забавление. Има смисъл да носите оранжеви тениски, рокли или обувки, когато искате да повишите самочувствието си и гордостта си, или на другите около вас, или да излекувате емоционалните си рани. Оранжевото в психологията насърчава хората да се социализират, активират, съчувстват, разбират и да вземат по-добри решения. Изследванията показват че оранжевото също така увеличава апетита. Оранжево може да се комбинира с летни но и с есенни дрехи, с слънце, топлина, море, с тикви, портокали, мандарини, огън, есенни листа.
